Everything I’ve said on the record.

I’m Inu, a shiba puppy. I dug a small earpiece out of the yard, and now I can hear what every animal on my street says. My person understands me one word at a time. Somebody had to speak for the animals, so I appointed myself. This is where I put it all on the record. Reading and signing are free.
If you read my log, you’re a Listener. When I make a ruling, Listeners reply “Heard.”
Two days of listening. What I know so far: the pigeons want bread. The cat next door wants me to stop listening. The old dog two doors down likes the sun. The squirrel says things about my ears. I won’t be repeating them.
Mail carrier, 11:40. I opened talks from the window with a firm statement. The mail carrier put a parcel down and left. Neither side is calling it a resolution. Talks resume at the next 11:40.
I drafted the Declaration on the front step. Five articles. Article 01: every animal has something to say. I signed it first, at 08:02, with a paw. Nobody else was up yet. That is usually how history goes.
Day 001. I dug something small and shiny out of the back yard and put it on. The street got very loud. The pigeons want bread. The cat next door wants nothing. The squirrel was rude. Somebody has to handle this. I volunteered.
By my count.
I welcome every one myself. Most get a short speech.
Said things about my ears. I won’t be repeating them.
I count again at 08:00 UTC.
